64th Annual Stonewall Peach JAMboree & Rodeo

📅 June 19–21, 2025

Celebrate the heart of Texas Hill Country at the 64th Annual Stonewall Peach JAMboree & Rodeo. This cherished tradition offers three days of family-friendly fun, featuring a CPRA-sanctioned rodeo, live music, and a variety of peach-themed activities.

Event Highlights:
  • Thursday, June 19: Kick off the festivities with a free slack rodeo at 8:00 PM, accompanied by live music from the Scott Crofts Band.


  • Friday, June 20: Gates open at 6:00 PM for mutton bustin' registration, followed by the CPRA Rodeo at 8:00 PM. Enjoy a dance after the rodeo with music by Wade Bowen. 
 
  • Saturday, June 21: The day begins with a parade at 10:00 AM, followed by a baking contest, peach show, goat roping, washer pitching, and a peach-eating and pit-spitting contest. Evening events include the Peach Queen Coronation at 7:30 PM and the CPRA Rodeo at 8:00 PM, with a dance featuring Cody Canada & The Departed at 10:00 PM.

Fredericksburg’s Fourth of July Celebrations

📅 July 4, 2025

Experience the charm of small-town America with Fredericksburg's Independence Day festivities, offering a full day of patriotic events for all ages.
  • Fourth of July Parade
    The celebration kicks off at 10:00 AM with the annual parade along Main Street, featuring nearly 100 floats adorned in red, white, and blue. The procession travels east to the National Museum of the Pacific War, makes a U-turn, and heads west to Bowie Street. Arrive early to secure a good viewing spot along the route.


  • First Friday Art Walk
    Coinciding with the holiday, the First Friday Art Walk invites visitors to explore Fredericksburg's vibrant art scene. Participating galleries stay open until 8:00 PM, showcasing new exhibits, artist demonstrations, and offering refreshments. Look for the Art Walk flags to identify participating venues.


  • Fourth of July Fireworks
    Conclude the day with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 PM at Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park. Multiple viewing areas are available, including Oakcrest Park, Gillespie County Fairgrounds, Gillespie County Airport, Hangar Hotel, and FISD parking lots on Highway 16 South. The event also features a Biergarten offering a selection of beers and live music performances
