The Story Behind Miss Bunny's Bungalow

When my mom was born, she was named Beatrice after my great grandmother. The story I was told was that an uncle bought her a large stuffed bunny rabbit when was very little. She loved her bunny so much that everyone started calling her by the nickname of "Bunny." 

She never went by Beatrice from then on. When I had children, the grand kids called her "Grandma Bunny Rabbit." A few years ago, my mom passed and left me the money that enabled us to take on this endeavor of a vacation rental home. While we were looking, we visited the town of Fredericksburg and fell in love with the small town charm it had to offer. There is so much to see and do here. After months of looking we found and fell in love with this 1920's craftsman bungalow. We knew this would be the perfect location for our vacation home. We thought it was only fitting that we name it "Miss Bunny's Bungalow" in memory of my mom since she was why we were able to do this.
